It’s max week at our CrossFit gym which means, we test our results after a 6-week strength cycle.
My approach? Take the pressure off.
It’s ALL good. Of course you want to improve your numbers. But the true gift is just being in it.
CrossFit (and any fitness training program) is a journey.
Being able to be healthy and focused to committing yourself 100% is the win itself. That’s the medal.
All the benchmarks you hit along the way? Those are the crowd’s cheers.
Today I was hoping to hit a back squat PR of 200, but I’ll proudly take a 5lb PR at 195.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about progress.
The best part?
That feeling of progress is something you can indulge in on a daily basis.
Go for it. Eat it up.
