Madison Square Garden has partnered with some of the biggest names in New York food to create exclusive, world-class culinary options for The World’s Most Famous (and now delicious) Arena. Chefs Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Andrew Carmellini, restaurateur Drew Nieporent and Aquagrill’s chef and owner Jeremy Marshall, will each create exclusive offerings as part of the new MSG Signature Collection.
I was fortunate to be part of the official launch at Tribeca Three Sixty where I had the opportunity to taste the full menu (read: wear a dress with as much material and “color-blocking” as possible so you can comfortably devour everything in the room; a calculated eating strategy was in full effect)

Debuting in late November, Daily Burger from top restaurateur Drew Nieporent will feature several specialty hamburgers and cheeseburgers, while Sausage Boss, by award-winning chef Andrew Carmellini with his partner Luke Ostrom, will showcase an Italian link sausage and cheese bratwurst sandwich. In December, world-famous chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, along with partner Phil Suarez, will open Simply Chicken, offering a grilled organic chicken sandwich, chicken hot dog and sliced chicken salad. Jeremy Marshall, from top-rated Aquagrill, will open Lobster Shrimp Roll by Aquagrill at several locations also beginning in December.

The lobster shrimp roll was so divine that I ate 3 just to confirm its godliness. Speaking of roll….I had to practically be rolled out in order to exit the building; however, it was worth every morsel. It was a spectacular evening of great chefs, great food, and great company. MSG-enius.
